Underwater photography, until recently, was expensive beyond the reach of the average recreational diver, requiring expensive amphibious waterproof film cameras. Times have changed, technology has improved and now, with a modest investment, any recreational scuba diver can start taking photos on their dives. A beginner underwater photographer can get nice results immediately with some modest equipment and a few pro tips.
